I Found a Cure

So, this should probably go on my other blog, but I'm putting it here, because I think more people will get use out of it.

I have found the cure. Not the cure for cancer or HIV or baldness, but something that is (to me) far more important, since I don't know anyone with cancer or HIV, and baldness is no biggie.

I have cured morning sickness.
Well, no. Not me personally. I found a website that guided me in the right direction for curing morning sickness.

What you need to do is two things. This first one wasn't on the website, but it works.
Buy a big bag of salt and vinegar potato chips. Open the bag (to let the air out) then close it up best you can, throw it on the floor, and stomp the hell out of it. (Or you could just crush it up a little. But stomping is better.) Don't worry about the crumbs that get all over the floor. Let the dog (or a toddler) clean that up. Now put some of these crumbs in a bowl, and put it next to your bed. When you wake up in the morning, put a few crumbs in your mouth and let them sit there till soft and then swallow them. For whatever reason, that will help you just enough to get out of bed. (Then eat something better for you, like toast with peanut butter. Or gummy bears.)
Keep the bowl of crumbs with you throughout the day and suck on them as needed.

Now to the website's remedy. Figure out which one of the scenarios fits you, and go get yourself that remedy. For me, it's Sepia 12c. Four little capsules under the tongue and - you'll never believe it - morning sickness is gone. Just gone, like that! Presto! This from a woman who spends the first five months of pregnancy hunched over the toilet; who spends days in the ER with IV fluids being piped in; who begs her doctor for anything, anything, to make the nausea go away.

And it was as simple as salt and vinegar potato chips and cuttlefish ink. Whodathunkit.

I had to spend my last pregnancy with an uncapped bottle of peppermint oil under my nose constantly for 3 months because smells (of almost any variety) made me hurl. I'm filing this little tidbit away in case I ever get knocked up again.

Congrats!
