I am in Dayton Ohio. To get here, I had to go through mid-Michigan, down into Indiana, and over into Ohio.
Indiana is a lot like Michigan. Ohio is a lot like Indiana. Ohio has the added benefit of fewer hills and a lower speed limit, but otherwise, they're all pretty much the same.
You would not expect to see the eighth wonder of the world here in the heart of the midwest. But I did.
There is a town in Ohio called Van Wert. It is a very small town. In this town, I saw SIX houses that still had Christmas trees and lights. But that was not the eighth wonder of the world.
Fort Wayne, Indiana is a pretty big city. I only saw a little bit of it but it seemed pretty large. Fort Wayne, Indiana is not the eighth wonder of the world.
There is a town outside of Dayton called Huber Heights. When I drove by Huber Heights, I saw the biggest frickin' Menards I have ever seen in my entire life. They must do a lot of home repairs there. But that giant Menards was not the eighth wonder of the world.
THIS is the eighth wonder of the world. And I saw it with my very own eyes.
Indiana. What can I say.

You have the funniest observations...I love it like I love me some good coffee! Okay that was cheesy I know but I'm on my 3rd glass of wine! woot!
You know, I like you.
It's all quiet here in my house, except for the dishwasher. I'm reading your post, reading your post, waiting for it, waiting for it. And when I get to the end, I laugh so loud I make the dogs bark. ROTFL!
I'm from Fort Wayne...born and raised. That sign does not surprise me at all. There IS more than corn in Indiana...apparently there are fireworks, too.
